This website is hosted and delivered using Cloudflare Pages, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. and its affiliated entities.
When you visit the website, technical information required to deliver and protect the website may be processed. The processing is carried out to provide the website, maintain its security and availability, and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).

If you contact me by email, I process the information you provide, such as your name, email address and the content of your message, in order to respond to your enquiry.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries. Where your enquiry concerns steps requested before entering into a contract or an existing contractual relationship, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may also apply.
Your information is retained only for as long as necessary to deal with the enquiry and, where applicable, for statutory retention periods.
4. Newsletter via Kit
If you subscribe to my newsletter, your subscription is handled by Kit, Inc. (formerly ConvertKit). The newsletter sign-up pages linked from this website are hosted by Kit.
Kit processes the information you submit, such as your email address and subscription information, in order to provide the newsletter service and manage your subscription.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or by contacting me.
Kit states that its GDPR data-processing framework includes appropriate contractual safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

5. ARC Reader applications via Google Forms
If you apply to become an ARC Reader, you are directed to a Google Form. The information you enter into that form is processed by Google and made available to me for the purpose of reviewing and managing ARC Reader applications.
The website itself does not collect or store the information entered into the form. Once you open the Google Form, Google's own privacy terms and data-processing practices apply.

6. Embedded YouTube videos
Some pages on this website contain embedded YouTube videos. Where possible, the videos are embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com.
YouTube explains that its privacy-enhanced mode changes the way embedded video views are used for personalization. Nevertheless, loading and playing an embedded video can involve the transmission of technical information to YouTube, and YouTube's terms and privacy practices apply.

This website currently uses the fonts Cormorant Garamond and Source Sans 3 via Google Fonts. When these fonts are requested from Google's servers, technical connection information, including your IP address, may be transmitted to Google.
